Word and Song Ministries depends upon contributions and purchases for support and growth. Therefore, the privacy of contributors and purchasers is of the utmost importance. It is our policy not to share information about our contributors and purchasers with anyone.
Tax Implications of Your Charitable Contribution to Word and Song Ministries
Word and Song Ministries is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation which has been recognized as tax-exempt by the Internal Revenue Service. As such, Donors may deduct charitable contributions to Word and Song Ministries. A cash contribution to Word and Song Ministries can be used as a federal tax deduction up to fifty percent of your adjusted gross income for the year in which the gift is made and any deductions not allowed in a year may be carried over for up to five years. A charitable contribution made in connection with a Word and Song Ministries special event (e.g., banquet, golf tournament, etc.), can be used as a federal tax deduction in the amount of the contribution above the value of the goods or services received.
In order to take a federal tax deduction for any single contribution of $250.00 or more to Word and Song Ministries, you must have a written acknowledgment of the contribution from Word and Song Ministries as proof of the gift. If, on the other hand, a single contribution is less than $250.00, written acknowledgment is not necessary to claim the deduction.
